Gurl your character was never even mentioned and now you’re conversing wirh the ml ? for all we know your character never even actually existed in the original novel
^ dont be too hard on these mcs. If they’re not oblivious to anything, the story would’ve ended long ago. And sometimes the mc does understand that the story is changing but didn’t think the romance part will change as much too. We read this manhwa knowing it is romance themed but like you said, since it’s no longer just a story for them, but actual reality, romance is not always the center point of it all, depending on the characters ofc. But i dont disagree completely as there are exceptionally disappointing mcs out there.
It’s a pretty realistic fear. Even if they realize they’re changing the story and they know the ML is falling for them they also know that he fell for the OG MC before. Just because he likes her now chances are he’ll fall for the woman who he is destined to love. They were quite literally made for each other.
