Can we really blame viat and her mother? We don’t know whole story but from viat’s pov it was horrible. Every child deserves parents love and affection equally she didn’t recieve anything instead it was hostile and hatred. Mother was busy with anger as well ofc she found out her husband has child.. viat family was broken even tho it wasn’t perfect but it was only thing she had.. losing everything when she was so young. Every action justified. But mc has no option she didn’t choose to born like this either i hope they found their own peace
While I do agrgre with you, she did eventually chose to fuel her happiness by making others suffer. It was eventually her choice and her not getting the love from her parents does not justify her behaviour up until now. As a small child it was understandable, children don’t often know how to behave when they are hurt. But she is later a grown ass adult and still acts the same way. While I do hope they both have a happy life at the end, seeing how this story progresses I highly doubt it.
@Dynamite you have a point…but she’s an adult now so surely she can see that it’s not her half sister’s fault?….if anything she should be angry at her father for all the pain and neglect smh
I truly believe that very children are blank canvases, and how the world (parents, peers, friends, etc) treat and build them will determine how they will grow to be. I learned this from my psychology class that humans tend to lean/react more towards negativity as it is how our brain works to protect us. Being evil is not the way to protect ourselves, but it truly is easier to be negative than positive. Viat grew up in such a negative environment, and until she went through a major life changing situation, she will forever be a horrible adult. As I always say, it’s the adults who are at fault. Never punish the children for the adult’s “sin.” Kid Viat was also a victim, but that doesn’t mean what she did is justifiable. No one should think they can and have the right to inflict pain on others just because they’ve experienced it
