Technically Nellan is his ‘gay awakening’ or at least his biggest push to accept it, to himself at least. So if the fl captures his heart waaa~y before they meet, then his supposed awakening might not happen as intensely or if at all.
Since one he’d no longer be as interested as she already own his heart and two Nellan won’t be the first aside from indigo to show the ml kindness so the impact the meeting was supposed to have wouldn’t be there anymore.
