“He wont mess in my space” girl, yes he will! He might steal some papers, or hurt you! They should have met in a public space. How is she so smart and lucky when it’s convenient, but makes idiotic decisions when the plot needs some bland spice. Such lazy writing and 2D boring characters ?
@minichu, i know some male dude is probably gonna show up to “save” her. Im just pointing out how dumb it is that she makes all these WeLL inForMeD decisions when it benefits her business (in a very unrealistic way might I add), but makes these half assed barely thought out plans just so that the romance aspect of the plot can be furthered. I just think it’s lazy, and none of the characters have consistent or good writing
To the comments above, honestly I can see how you’d be wavering at the inordinate luck the MC has, but in my opinion, just BECAUSE I go to these fics for escapism, it’s nice to see things work out without too high a stake involved. I’m just like, ” Oh, I know she’s gonna miraculously escape” and so I don’t get overly stressed about it. I read a bunch of more high stakes mangas and manhuas alongside this one, so this is kinda a stress break for me, especially since a lot of the other ones tend to make me fret.
If you want a series which is less “protag is super lucky”, I’d suggest The Duchess’ 50 Tea Recipes. If you want a series with a smart protag who thinks her way out of situations, I’d suggest The Villainess Reverses The Hourglass. If you want a series which is more silly and light hearted, I’d suggest Miss Not-So-Sidekick. All three of these are pretty much at a stopping point in their plots or have essentially finished, so you’ll have a complete story to read.
tbh to one of the comments above when u said the 2D characters were boring if u cant draw as good as the person who drew it i would suggest to stop criticizing the art bc trust me it takes alot of time,talent and patience
