I wouldn’t just write him off as “the guy that wanted to kill her.” The person he truly wanted dead was the former Serena, who was abusive, manipulative, and obsessive.
Actually, I feel bad that he pretty much completely pushed aside all the trauma he suffered at her hand and simply forgave her.
He’s been nothing but kind to the current Serena—and I guess we’ll just ignore he saved her life.
Also Lucas wasn’t any nicer to the former Serena than Aiden was? The only difference is that Lucas didn’t want to kill Serena which makes sense bc Lucas wasn’t bound to her command the same way Aiden was— she wasn’t an obstacle or source of trauma for Lucas, like she was for Aiden, but more like an annoyance.
