It’s nice and I really hope it’s not a promo, but this falls into the problem most stories like this do, the fl is a perfectly loveable and nice person who is mostly portrayed as being blameless in the situation, but she also knowingly steals someone else’s fiancee. It might be an arranged marriage without any actual love involved, but that might make it worse because larger powers are at play and this might have serious consequences for mc and her family, even if they are villains, losing their status, prestige and money as a noble family just because of this is absurd. This is especially true here, as in this story it seems that divorce and even just breaking an engagement is impossible with the exception of the situation the mc found herself in(her family falling from grace and her being tried for treason and later executed), Are we really supposed to sympathise with a woman who knows that marrying her love would mean at least one person dying? Of course we don’t know her actual thoughts on this yet and the crown prince seems like a bigger factor in the mc’s execution and her. He probably looked for a chance rather than solving this in an amiable way, as in speaking with the mc about this and both agreeing that even if they are officially married they can have lovers on the side. Idk it just seems like a dumb plot structure
