@maybenot: as far as I understood, Charlize whom was made into Kiera in the past and therefore is the “reincarnation” of Kiera the evil god, is destined to destroy Ehyrit. As a natural born Genius Dylan is the biggest “real piece of Ehyrit”, therefore the “reincarnation of Ehyrit”. So Charlize “as the reborn pure evil” is likely to kill Dylan if she stays by his side. Therefore she decided to leave him because she does not want to kill him.
The Magic dude, who does not know that Charlize is Kiera thinks that she might be the “real piece of Ehyrit” and told her this as a warning, but Charlize realised that she, as a sword build to kill Ehyrit, might destroy Dylan in the future
I am not certain if this interpretation is true but this is as far as I understood the plot 😀 Hope I could help
she might be “wrong” but this is an extremely reasonable justification for running away. if the natural enemy of Ehyrit is Keira and they are the embodiment of them, of course she’d be afraid of the impulsive desire to possibly kill him. it seems to be a possibility anyways seeing as she can’t deny she wouldn’t kill him. she was, after all, turned into a sword – obeying fate is the least crazy thing that could happen here
