Idk why he was so shocked when Lea said she expects him not to find her unless there’s a problem. That’s been true her whole life and he still wouldn’t admit he missed them even a day ago. He even tells Noel that he doesn’t care about Lea outside of what she’s forcing him to do. I get that he’s changing but him being surprised is dumb
Also all y’all commenting that Noel shouldn’t be keeping Lea from her father… Are you ignoring the intrusive thought he JUST had about killing her?!
The audience can reasonably assume he won’t actually do it but the characters can’t, especially when Noel knows that Rupert was originally destined to kill Lea in the first place. She tried changing him and it didn’t seem to work in her eyes so why would she assume Lea is safe?
Oml the fl should not be saying that she and lea won’t tolerate Rupert’s “sudden changes” like girly DIDN’T YOU ALSO CHANGE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU ALSO WERE A BAD PARENT? and why do you expect Rupert to be nice to you all of a sudden when YOU used to insult him and argue with him on a daily basis yea I get your trying to protect Lea and all but you also used neglect her { and I’m not saying Rupert’s is a good parent and other shit like that no he is also a bad parent just like noel both of them used to neglect Lea and so therefor both of them are in the wrong }
I think ya’ll are forgetting that him not being a good dad isn’t the only factor she has in not being with him, the CURSE which he is destined to lose control of in the future is a HUGE factor, if he doesn’t love them enough he will KILL them. He has shown no evidence of wanting a relationship with the child until AFTER the MC “changed” I’d be HELLA cautious like her TOO!!!
There more easier and realistic way to divorce him than making this even more complicated
Have tea with him,tell him the truth about your soul swap and explain to him what happen in future if he keep staying with her and lea. no more lies nor secrets
