Eh why are you calling people dumb? I know its a manhwa world, but realistically you wouldnt just leave your child in the care of people you just met/barely know, whether he is the duke or politicians, whoever it may be. Like how do you easily trust people who’s pretty much a stranger?
To the people wondering why she leaves the child to him, she knows his character from the story. She knows he’s honorable, kind, and the opposite of her husband. He’s not a stranger to her even if he’s only met him twice. If anything, the weird thing is that she wastes the duke’s time with such a menial task, when she could have just left Leah back home with the maids.
