I mean, it makes sense that Cecilia hates Jade. All she sees is a person who brings fear to the workers and kills off ministers. When she sees him being sweet with Biche, all she sees is him having a fake mask on (which, he kind of is–he hides his deeds from Biche in fear that she’ll think bad of him or fear him). A wolf on sheep clothing. Cecilia didn’t grow up with Jade like Biche did, doesn’t know him like us readers do. So, I think her hate and fear is understandable, especially since Jade isn’t helping the situation.
