Hear me out— I think that Jade probably didn’t reverse time the moment she died since he did say “a long time” in the previous chapter. Heck, it could’ve taken him 3-5 years to figure out how to reverse time;
just my speculation, Biche died and jade spend a long time (maybe years) to find a way for him to met her again, and then he finds a way to turn back time, that is why he said “a long time”
and maybe it’s happened after the novel story end.

Maybe, it her past life, she unconsciously changed something to the original plot that’s why she went back again.
