She’s still under the impression that he’ll harm her cause he IS the villain, so I can understand why she wants to preserve her life even if he’s been good to her so far. I’m glad everyone is in agreement that she has no reason to leave him. The MC is kind of stupid in this sense, she’s taking everything about him that’s in the book, which states he’s a villain. But she’s literally experience a side of him that was never even mentioned in the book. But she forgets that the book is told in the MC’s point of view, in an outside looking in type of deal. So, his actions can easily be seen as villainous from that person’s viewpoint. She’s not even trying to give the man a chance.

People forget she is a hostage, she is afraid of him, he knows it and keep trying to force her. And she has all the reasons to be afraid of him, he would use all the means to tie her and is playing with her hope to escape. Even though we know they will end up together, I’m really happy she escaped now.
