She frustrates me so much. At this point, I’d rather her find and bring the other girl already so he can freaking reject the blue haired and get it through her thick skull that he loves HER. This stupid limbo makes me mad–I hate this trope. She even SAID she’s happy that Eiden is responding this way but keeps letting him suffer because of some stupid preconception when the OG story is already unrecognizable
This has become a growing trend for a lot of female characters in these types of stories. Where they worry about the true love showing up. I like the emperor secretary one. You find out the so called fml of true love was self centered and greedy for only his love and didn’t give a shit about the kids. Different manga of course.
As readers, we know both parties perspectives. She obviously cares ( and probably love ) him. He loves her too. But does she know that? Of course he showers her with affection and such but she was reincarnated as the villainess and literally read the book. Sure, ‘fate’ can change ( not really if were talking about the definition of fate realistically, there is no such thing as a person changing fate and I mean if it were, it’d be the same outcome like if you were suppose to die a year late and ‘overcome’ it you’d still die at the end up differently IF THAT MAKES SENSE *spirtually/religiously speaking lol ) and sure, we all read many of these cliche plots where MC thinks “he gonna end up with her* but c’mon MC obviously haven’t read none to be thinking another idea. It’s that constant fear that once the heroine comes in, he’ll love her because that’s the way it happened in the book and if she does end up with him, she worries what would happen with the heroine ( she questions whether heroine will become villainess or that she took heroines spotlight and what not ) and how can one say sure that a persons love can change? ( you might say “well she already changed to many things” but that’s because honey, plot hasn’t even truly begun with heroine yet ) sure its a fiction story but REALISTICALLY LOL a persons love CAN change and you might come after me with “she looking down at his love” NO she just has many emotions going on rn and I feel like yall hating on her too much. Sure its frustrating but please don’t call her a user or “she belongs to the streets” or slut and such *those comments are now deleted lol* SORRY FOR THIS ESSAY BUT ITS MY OPINION HAHAHAHA and BOTH PARTIES ARE SUFFERING JUST DIFFERENTLY

The negative response this manhwa is getting is from bad writing. This MC is advertised as mature compared to her lover. She is not. A mature person in a romantic relationship firstly talks to and thinks of their partner as equals and secondly respects their partner’s thoughts and feelings. This MC refuses to do these basic things. She has one sidedly created a “misunderstanding” to feel good about the MLs suffering as “proof” that his feelings are sincere. That is immature and needlessly harmful. None of her arguments about “what could happen in the future” excuses her selfish and abusive behavior in the present.
