I can somewhat empathize with Sarah. Don’t get me wrong she was horrible as a Mother figure and caretaker.
But her husband dies, and while she is grieving him her sister retuns verry pregnant. So then insted of grieving her husband then sha has to house her sister and her new child. And not too long after the baby is born, a distracting from her grief of the husband. Her sister dies. So now she became a parent, single mom without special skills like fl. So she worked and worked and probably tried too grieve. That didn’t work So she neglects the child, a child she never wanted.
I wonder if things could have gone diffrently if Sarah weren’t always lonely, alone and tired.
Again, not saying she did right. Just saying that i can somewhat understand where she is comming from
