The way Penny is treated on the side by the step mom tells me she isn’t someone she placed to spy on the main fml. It would be fun if there was a twist to it. Either she retains her memories for every restart. She is actually a well trained former assassin. She used to be a powerful ally for the fml mom. Now I am assuming Penny is the same age as the fml? Can anyone confirm this?

penny either could have been her moms maid and maybe was the daughter of her mom maid and so they told her what happened.
