At this point in the story, all that we have established is that he is nice, she does not like that he is nice, and so she is using his kindness as a weapon against him. Everyone claiming that she’s just “having a little bit of fun” must be bullies in real life, because most sane people don’t think of causing this much distress to those around them as fun.
