It’s dumb how the author made the antagonist suffer in pain while the protagonist gets the lover of her life and becomes the empress. That just messed up but that is almost what happens to every antagonist of the original storyline.
If I was in her shoes, I would say “I understand. But sense I’m leaving to the war, I think it’s only fair if im able to make a request. I would like to be taught at least a little bit of magic that would be useful in the war.” So at least I would know some magic Y’know?
