*sighs* For someone who has transmigrated many years ago, lived with villains and made them care for her, enjoyed the status of duchess, she sure is kinda useless and weak in those situations. She just let that brat walk all over her, hid behind her son when the situation got out of hand, even triggered this situation since she went to greet her first and is still in the mentality of “oh it didn’t go according to the original”. You know something is going to happen to your family. Anyone in that situation would build their power so that when the time comes you wouldn’t be unprepared. What is she going to protect them with? Words, love and kisses. Seriously?!? Not much character development on her part.
@EdithS Granted, it’s not like they went to many parties. She was secluded from the noble world for the past few years. No one really invites them, and she’s not one to go to parties in the first place. So, of course the first time back in the social world would be rocky until she gains those skills.
The crown prince is an idiot and his gf is a bitch so they’re just a match made in heaven. They’re going to provoke the Chade family and invoke hell’s wrath.

I agree with @EdithS about her development. For someone who is well-aware of their characteristics [as Villains of the novel] for years she had lived as Ein’s mother, why is she so attached to the original storyline?
I don’t know why all transmigrated MC’s are like this. If you create a decision to change the mindset to the major characters, expect something that might not go with the original.
@Killrabbit the MCs are so attached to original storyline because they like knowing what happens.. and can act and decide based on that knowledge..
Then when something changes, it can get confusing.. just like roselia acted here.. that confrontation didn’t happen in the past, so she was unable to act on that situation…
The prince is so irritating!! Like he hates the Chade family because they do eveil things. Most bad things they do are ordered by HIS FATHER!!! On a regular basis, they only mess eith those that strike them first.
