That she was the daughter of the “bed guy” the whole time but was taken by his enemies, changed her appearance when she was young and couldn’t remember, and manipulated to hate and fight her own father. Her lover was probably in on it as well.
She either got 1) thrown out when he said that in her past lives or 2) someone stole her away and changed her appearance, using her to go fight against her father. Those are my guesses.
@Syron13 could definitely be the case, but it still doesn’t change the fact that lots of innocent died because of that war AND the fact she’s been tortured, played with, and killed by her father’s men.
