Well, it’s nice that the author addressed this, and it’s an actual plot point. It’s still strange that the father didn’t realize it when she told him about it, guess the author just wanted to have the spirit reveal it instead. But it makes the rest of the cast seem pretty dumb.

I didn’t consider that he would die. If a fight between spirits is likely close to zero, does that mean that the spirit guardian could’ve been eaten?
