I mean, if she had gone into the marriage with a negative attitude in the original, been dismissive of her husband, not taken over her duties, not developed a good relationship with the servants, and so on, and as a result she missed various opportunities, the regression would give her a chance to grow as a person. Instead she did everything right, but the husband was stupid, her territory got hit by a famine, and she got some obscure disease that killed her.
