I get that her siblings just want what’s best for her(in a way), but they’re being too overprotective that they don’t realize that she’s already happy with that hunk of a man right there. They’re also over stepping bounds when making crude remarks towards him, that’s unnecessary input.
While I do agree with most that the little brother is being blind sided by overprotectiveness (will admit, I do think it is cute because I know it comes from a place of love and that he will learn out of it haha), it makes sense considering his age and the time period.
I’m surprised actually that the kid can has that kind of foresight because it is true–historically, men took the credit of their wives’ accomplishments because they were the head and many outsiders didn’t acknowledge women the same way they acknowledge men.
