How is everyone accusing the brother and not her? I can’t defend her here. As much of a dick as her brother in law might have been, “feeling guilty of causing your husband’s death” is not an excuse to murder other innocent people. Even if you felt sorry for your husband’s family, how does that explain following his orders to that extent? “You killed my brother, so atone by killing my enemies”? And I’m supposed to feel sorry for her? She could have refused, or left if she was being abused. Or endured the abuse if she felt she deserved it. She had plenty of choices.
And it’s important to keep in mind, she wasn’t a person who grew up abused or unloved. It’s not like some other characters who really had no choice or didn’t know any better, with nowhere to go or anything like that. She should have never endured any abuse in the first place. If her family mistreated her at home, she should have fought back. If her husband didn’t act up when they abused her, he also wouldn’t act up when she retaliated. And her husband was the one with authority, not the rest of her shitty family. Which again, she chose to be there instead of picking some other job.
So far, pretty disappointed with the MC.
