I think that he would’ve been a good person had he not been forced to hide everything about him, he’s not spoiled because he has never had anything he’s truly wanted before and we cannot say he is bad because all he has shown is mild manners, the not showing up to fiance’s death may also not have been done out of malice. i mean the guy doesn’t even know what he is supposed to feel, he’s emotionally constipated and weak-willed, and also who shows up at a stranger’s funeral, because they were essentially strangers. point being not the worst person, probably just never had freedom before and surrounded by bad people
