Probably why she’s losing her powers. She trying to use her powers and position to make thing how she wants. And thinks because she’s the saintess that gives her the authority to declare what is right. Essentially she’s putting herself above those she’d trying to help and her god. No doubt the more she moves from trying to help people to trying to shape society in her image, the quicker she’s going to lose her powers.
The more I see of these two, the more I’m convinced that the only thing Helois did “wrong” was love Diana. He’s putting in all this effort and making all the sacrifices it seems, and all she’s doing is being delusional!
