naw exactly, like we knew from the beginning that this was gonna be a slow burn. and for kaelus to go as far as to attempt to kill himself (and succeed) multiple times in his past life, it meant his love for Diana ran so deep that her dislike of him (not her rejection, which he seemed perfectly fine with if it meant she was happy) was devastating. we hate it but he loved that woman. getting over her entirely and so soon is hard and just as hard irl. it’s fantastic he’s starting to care for hestia but you gotta remember why they’re all here.
