yk i read a spoiler somewhere that the two of would confess their love to eo then do some spicy thing but the next thing is that cael come to rescue diana (or something like that) when she lost her power, then hestia like “so it’s all pointless, huh?” bcz she thought that no matter what she did unun would still comeback to diana. im remembering this when i read this chapter and it’s just—??
it just makes me so sad because Diana could’ve been a good person. like Caelus had loved her enough to let her go peacefully and respect her decision, but she threw him away when she learned he killed (and it wasn’t even just random, needless killing, but it was to secure her spot and protect her). and to turn around and talk to him like she didn’t just fucking abandon him like that? it’s low. her negligence for the commoners, the ill, her snobby attitude just because she’s royalty now – they all cross the line and no longer make her a likable character
like I love the FL obviously, and I even love Caelus (even if that spoiler is true. even if I hate her, it’d be his decision and I commend him for his maturity in not letting something personal get in the way of politics). I actually like Helios too. I think he has some fault for not reaching out to Caelus, but he IS a CP/emperor and was both busy and oblivious (like he probably doesn’t know what happened between Cael and Diana). and he sought out Cael. Diana’s the real rotten root around here
