^^ His anger towards his wife at the start of the manhwa is very much understood. I would’ve hated the real Elena if I were him knowing she used my own son for her own sake. You cant blame him for his prejudice towards her. While he is in the wrong for overlooking the treatments towards Elena, he’s not all wrong as well.

Imagine someone lied to you just to marry you even using someone’s illness as an excuse when he/she isn’t even helping with the recovery as promised and someone that is suffering is your precious person. I would be furious at the person who lied to me.

You know, I think the duke has better personality than some male leads in the ‘misunderstanding trope’. He apologized for his mistake as soon as possible and even reflected on himself. Not just reflecting, he even determined to change himself to treat her better. I mean, that is a HUGE improvement for a one of the main male character in a misunderstanding trope
