I agree with most comments but we can‘t forget where she comes from: she had no friends before, she sees her mother very seldom because she works constantly (guess the abusive father left the family). Everything changed because of Siyun. Before him she also decided to kill her bully in her dreams. And now she calls her friend. Same with the other boy, he treated her like shit and only wants her now as a second option and because Siyun is around her. It‘s really not like she had her life and he came and took everything away. It‘s more the other way around. But I agree he needs help. She knew that. Plus they never really talk. She can‘t explain anything to him at all. He needs to find friend of his own. I guess his family is out of the picture. But I guess if he had someone else to rely on (not in a romantic way a real friendship) he could be more at ease. And to be honest if I woke up in the middle of the night and my boyfriend is gone, no note, no text, then comes and tells me he has been with a friend, who really wasn‘t a friend, I‘d be angry too.
