@Kayla i agree but instead of finding it funny I find it sad. I get he’s supposed to be “the cold northern duke” archetype but his treatment towards his daughter is heartbreaking knowing he probably would be “a fool for his daughter” as Terryl said, if he actually got to raise her. I’m sure he loves her to a certain degree but the snide remarks/ banter just don’t hit the same when the relationship wasn’t cultivated. She seems more as an add on to the mom than his child, it’s not cute or sweet just upsetting that they’ll never get back those 20 years of potential bonding.
