If you guys don’t understand, it was the fog that drove him to kill himself. The fog causes people to follow their deepest desires, and the emperors deepest desire was for Ingrid to love him or to give her what she wanted, so he killed himself because he came to the realization that what Ingrid actually wants, was him dead. Quite ironic actually. If he was actually a normal person and expressed his love to her in a different way, they could’ve actually had a nice love story.
Tbh I feel sad for the emperor he truly loved ingrid it’s just that his approach was wrong. Sometimes we lose our loved ones for our obssessive nature bcz we want to own them but forget that they are their own people you can’t possess someone. it is quite sad that he died But not that much cz he was a tyrant >_<
im not sad at all. a foolish emperor who destroyed the whole kingdom just for a woman that he love die because of that obsession of him. it is a good way to end his life then letting other people kill him. cause i can imagine ingrid might gone mad even after she kills him. but still im worried about her emotions after this.
