I am so glad the author solved the misunderstanding in the same chapter it started. I’m sick and tired of the trope where there’s a misunderstanding caused by assumption and it drags out because one party avoids the other ?. Like seriously, let the trope die and talk about your concerns like an adult ?.
(I know, this message may seem very spiteful but I’ve seen this trope more times than I can count. It’s good to mix things up, which is why I’m grateful for what the author did)
