Also, i wonder if the translation is off with the Duchess Leonville case. I believed her husband was said to be a bastard child of her father. So he isn’t a step brother (which would entail them not have blood relationship in the first place) but a half-brother (which would indicate they are still blood related and, therefore, they are in a incestuous relationship).
And even if they defend themselves saying they never consummated, that would mean that the Duchess sons are technically bastards.
