Ya the translation is an awful mess. But after double checking which character and knowing who it is, I’ll try and guess the proper translation:
He is saying he wouldn’t care about dealing with the earring but because of the causality, which is where you experience pain defying your Saintess, he has to deal with it. He also seems to refer to the fact his soul isn’t 100% loyal to Josephina so it complicates his actions.
He is saying Josephina has lost her mind, and all the remains of her is a suspected fake who everyone is suspicious of. Its definitely insinuating here that he wants Leticia to deal with Josephina. If people continue to doubt her further, she’ll be useless.
He is either saying because of causality or because or because Josephina is not yet defeated, he has to help her OR the King -again-. And he can’t or doesn’t want to, because his revenge is soon.
We don’t know what his revenge is related to yet. That’s just hinting here.
And of course the banquet is when he expects it to be completed. For “that girl” is most likely the proper wording. I think that part is intended to be vague and for you to guess who “that girl is”. I know what it is but I think the wording is intended.
Basically “By the time of the banquet, for that girl, this will be over” or “I’ll finish this” or “this will end” sort of idea.
To summarize the brother wouldn’t bother with the earring if not for having to defy a saint.
Josephina is crazy and will be useless soon.
His soul isn’t dedicate to Josephina.
He wants Leticia to defeat her
Soon his revenge will be complete.
On the day of the banquet, Leticia, for that girl, this will be over.
(Basically “for that girl” is Leticia. It’s just hinting future context)
Is the second half of the chapter even from this story? I don’t recognize ANY of those characters.
