I mean I know officially his mother but come on she is a few years older than him and didn’t really had a hand in raising him she was more of a companion who shouldered the responsibilities until he grew up….or am I getting it wrong ? ?

I just hope it’s quickly clarified to the blonde girl ( Jeremy’s fiancee ) that he doesn’t love shuli romantically. Idk I’d just hate for that drama to be repeated.
I think it’s implied that Jeremy has feelings for her in both lifes but he value their family relationship more so he would never cross the line. Plus he know Shuli will never see him that way so why jeporadize it
It’s actually pretty important that Jeremy has romantic feelings for Shuli and probably did in his past life – it brings more focus to the fact that Shuli was *barely* older than Jeremy when marrying into the family, and being pushed into the role of “Mother” of 4 children when she was still entirely a child herself. Wouldn’t a kid who’s maybe not even a couple years younger than another kid have major issues perceiving and interacting with that other kid as one of their parents? That’s why we don’t see Jeremy act on these romantic feelings despite having them, because I think he understands in some way the kind of pressure that Shuli has had on her shoulders since marrying Johannes. I do believe Jeremy loves Shuli romantically in both lives (they all did, they were just unfortunately too late on the draw in the past) but still keeps that “parental” boundary there for her sake – imagine the kind of social backlash you’d receive from not only all of your peers of any standing because you decided to enter a romantic relationship with your adopted son (regardless of closeness of age) and on top of that, the other 3 children obviously have purely filial feelings for Shuli and truly do perceive her as their reliable mother figure; it’d be incredibly awkward and weird for them, would they still have to regard her as mother? Or would it be sister? I don’t think Jeremy is going to be put in a position of being the second ML for this story, and I’m not entirely sure who else doesn’t really perceive the prince as a potential ML purely because of his infatuation/obsession and Nora will most likely be the only ML, but I do think it is absolutely vital to touch on the fact that Jeremy has these feelings in the first place – being one of the few people in the story, (like Nora) who see Shuli as she is – a woman, right around their own age, who was forced into the responsibilities of an adult when she was just a child herself, like them.
