I’m glad at least half the comments are talking about character development. I swear people on this site sometimes don’t understand character development and ALWAYS hold double standards between FL and ML. If not that, then always judging far too quickly. Like we’re 11 chapters in and barely know either person yet. We have a long way to go. “Revenge Wedding” has a similarly dysfunctional couple (superficial FL, aggressive ML) but its a beautiful thing to watch them develop into and onto each other.
